nd exploded.
Xia Fei felt as if he could just punch and blow away an entire planet!

After a very long time, Xia Fei finally returned back to normal, but a light flush still remained on his face, largely because of his level of excitement.

“Let’s go!” Xia Fei said with a swing of his arm.

“To find that Armor the Sky Devil left behind.
Something so good must belong to me, or I’ll make it disappear from the face of this universe forever!” Xia Fei replied nonchalantly.

The Broken Wing Sky Devil’s Plated Armor had a spirit of its own and was very powerful, having caused quite a bit of trouble for Xia Fei.
Given Xia Fei’s logic, since he had found something so precious, then he had to think of a way for him to get his hands on it.
Even if he could not do that, he had to at least destroy it to prevent it from falling into the hands of others in the future.

Leaving the huge hive, Xia Fei suddenly discovered that there seemed to be some changes to the Tomb.
The paths were no longer as complex and winding, and there were a lot less forks in the passageway now.

Xia Fei was very fast, and it did not take long for him to arrive at somewhere very special.

Here, the mural on both sides were no longer the scenes of the Sky Devil killing, but depictions of worship of the Broken Wing Sky Devil.

There was only one doorway, and Xia Fei walked right through it, only to discover the Broken Wing Sky Devil’s Plated Armor lying silently on a not-too ridiculously huge white rock slab.

Upon seeing Xia Fei enter, the Armor did not attack.
That was very strange.
Before, it had been bursting with killing intent, a strong desire to finish Xia Fei off.
But now, it was like some lifeless hunk of metal, ignoring Xia Fei’s intrusion.

“Be careful!” Radix said in a low voice.
“This could be the main chamber of the Broken Wing Sky Devil’s Tomb.”

Xia Fei nodded and slowly approached the Broken Wing Sky Devil’s Plated Armor.
The broken wings on its back had already disappeared, and it looked as ordinary as any other piece of armor.
Were it not for the very distinct insignia on its chest, Xia Fei would surely have mistaken it for some common equipment anyone could find on the streets.

Xia Fei frowned.
He had no idea what was up with this Armor, not sensing any energy or spirituality in it now.

Xia Fei did not head over to touch the Armor, but turned around to examine the murals on the walls around the room.

The face and image of the Broken Wing Sky Devil was depicted everywhere, looking like he had been this kindly old man, much different from the figure with no distinct features that was depicted outside.

Furthermore, the mural inside the main chamber told a story.
Every image here showed nothing of the Broken Wing Sky Devil harming anyone, a stark contrast from what was outside.

Xia Fei and Radix slowly walked along the wall, and the story related to the Sky Devil slowly appeared in Xia Fei’s mind.

Before the chaos of the cosmos, the Fiends were just a small species located in some corner of a galaxy.
Their numbers were not great, and their combat strength was nothing superb, either.
However, what the Fiend warriors had was toughness and drive, and their understanding of other sapient lifeforms were different as well, which was why they were excluded from the mainstream sapient lifeforms.

One day, the Four Great Sky Devils abruptly appeared in their midst.
As soon as they came to be, they immediately subdued the entire race.
These four beings were very fond of the comprehension the Fiends had toward combat, as well as their pursuit of life.

As such, the four of them stayed in their lands, and proceeded to impart to them many strange combat techniques.
Though they were outsiders, the Four Great Sky Devils were much adored by the Fiends, becoming veritable kings of the Fiends.

That lasted until one day when the Fiends were under attack by some unknown cosmic forces.
These Four Great Devils acted, slaughtering over a billion souls in one day!

A billion enemies were slain by the hands of the Four Great Sky Devils!

It was only at this point that the Fiends realized just how much more frightening the Four Great Sky Devils were than they had thought them to be! What they had imparted to the Fiends were nothing more than minor tricks and insignificant arts in the eyes of these Sky Devils, and hardly everything that they knew!

Additionally, the Four Great Sky Devils had massacred their enemies with such efficiency that even the Fiends, who had always been known for their ruthlessness, balked at the feat.
A billion lives in one day! All the blood that their enemies bled would be enough to wipe out an entire galaxy! It was a nightmarish day!

Even more scary was that when everything ended, the four Great Sky Devils were still talking and laughing.
It was as if the massacre they had just undertaken was as uneventful as a man who had accidentally stepped on some ants.

Ever since that day, even the most ruthless warriors among the Fiends no longer dared to call themselves ruthless.
Everyone felt that it was inaccurate to call them the four Sky Gods, so they changed it to Sky Devils! As such, the tradition of the Fiends worshiping devils began!

Unfortunately, on the day after that incident, the Four Great Sky Devils all departed without leaving a word behind.
Perhaps it was because they had established a good relationship with the Fiends that each of the four left a single piece of equipment behind.
The Broken Wing Sky Devil Paletooth left his Plated Armor, the Gale Sky Devil Medicinal Cauldron Prince left behind a metal Tome, and the brothers Bitter Sea Sky Devil Forgotten Vale and Calamity Sky Devil Forgotten Trouble each left behind a shortsword, which could be combined to form Paired Comet.

The Fiends were of course deeply saddened by their departure.
After a long time passed and seeing no signs of their return, they proceeded to inter the four relics from the Four Great Sky Devils in four Fiend Holy Cities.
They also constructed the Cenotaph as an outward declaration that the Sky Devils were dead, and as such spurred their descendents to work hard and train, so as to not pine for the day the Sky Devils would return and help the Fiends dominate the entire universe.

“After all that, these Four Great Sky Devils aren’t dead at all! And none of them were Fiends to begin with?” Xia Fei frowned slightly as he summarized what he had learned.

Turning his head to look at the immobile Sky Devil Armor, even more questions surfaced in Xia Fei’s mind.
