”Lucas…so are you just going to let her get married like this?! Alexa she…. ” Kyle did not get to finish before Lucas interrupted him.

”She is already married….theres nothing that I can do now….I only hope that she can be happy from now on ” Lucas said. This was his biggest wish. For Alexa to be happy.

”What? I didn think that you of all people Lucas would be so devoted! Do you really not know?! Ryan is a jerk! Someone like that….hes only using Alexa and you know that! She won be able to survive for much longer! ” Kyle said. He really could not understand Lucas. He loved her.

Yet, he was backing out like this. Doesn he feel any reluctance at all? What kind of love is this?

Lucas looked up at Kyle with his cold eyes before he said, ”Don underestimate Alexa. She is not a push over. She will definitely be able to deal with the gang! ” Lucas said.

Since Peter passed it over to her, then she did not have anything to worry about at all!

”You…. ” Kyle wanted to argue with Lucas but he did not know what he was supposed to say to him. It was clear that this person isn going to change his mind so easily.

”So, are you going back to the company now? ” Kyle changed the topic.

Lucas sighed once again. Since he let go, he already lost the chance to make the decisions. There was nothing that he could do now.

Alexa sat in the bar drinking. She wanted to let herself go today.

Once she got up tommorow, she was going to think about how she was going to deal with those people who dared to betray her..

She would show them that she Alexa, isn someone that can be messed with at all. She will be sure to get her revenge on them!

What Alexa did not know that on the top floor of the bar, there was a man watching her.

”Alexa…she is here right now? ” He asked. The man had a cold looking face and a sinister look in his eyes. It was difficult to tell what he was thinking right now.

”Yes…. ” The mans subordinate said. It wasn too difficult to detect the fear from the subordinates eyes.

”She came to the bar to drink? Isn she getting married in a few hours? ” The man sneered. It wasn clear if he was making fun of Alexa or not.

”Well….her marriage….. ” The subordinate seemed like he had something that he wanted to say but he did not know if he should say it or not.

The man rasied his eyes lazily and cast a glance on the subordinate.

”Why? You can bear to say it? ” He asked.

”Well, the thing is….her fiance, Ryan….well…they are rumours about him…..they say that he has a relationship with Rita…Im not sure though ” the subordinate said, not daring to look into the eyes of his boss.

The man let out an eerie laughter. ”it definitely sounds like something that that good for nothing Ryan would do. Only an idoit like him would like such a pretentious woman! ” The man said.

The subordinate ”… ”

He has been following this man for years and he had never been able to guess what his thoughts were for once.

Sometimes, it seemed like he hated Alexa to the bones and that he could not wait to kill her off, but at other times, it was difficult to tell what his feelings for her were.

This man really is a difficult nut to crack.

Guessing his thoughts had to be one of the most impossible things ever!

”So…are you saying that Alexa is here because she found out about her boyfriend cheating? ” The man asked, a sneer evident on his face.

”Well, judging from how much Alexa loves Ryan, she should be really happy to get married. She would only be this down if she found out that he was using her! ”

”Pathetic! ” The man spat out.

”Sir….what should we do now? ” The subordinate asked.

What be really wanted to know was if he wanted to keep playing the cat and mouse game with Alexa or if he wanted to finish her off for good.

”What else? Get rid of her! Shes vulnerable right now so you won fall this time! ” The man said nonchalantly. He seemed as if he was deciding what to have for breakfast, not a persons life.

The man was stunned. He didn think that the boss was going to put and end to it so soon.

Before he could double check, the man started talking again,

”Lucas…what has he been doing? ”

”I heard that hes going back to the company! He will take over Reynolds Cooperation very soon! ” The subordinate said.

Speaking of Lucas, it was difficult to tell what that person was thinking.

If there was someone who was as scary as this man standing in front of him it had to be Lucas.

For all that they knew, this could be his retreating to advance.

The man scoffed again. ”Pathetic! How pathetic! ” He said.

It wasn clear if he was referring to Lucas or Alexa.

Or maybe he was referring to the both of them?

Well, it was never easy to guess the mans thoughts.

”Sir.. about Alexa…..are we ….going to kill her? ” The subordinate asked carefully.

Somehow, he could not believe that his boss was going to get rid of Alexa by himself in such a ruthless way.

”Or what else? She is down now! She won be on guard! You think youll be able to take her down then? ” The man sneered.

The subordinate was really curious about the skills of Alexa.

Even someone was terrifying as his boss acknowledged that she was not weak.

He really wanted to see for himself how real it was.

”What are you waiting for? Get going then! ” The man said.

”Yes, yes, Ill be sure to do a good job! ”

The subordinate bowed and walked away.

The man sneered. Alexa…..

He would like to see who will be able to get rid of her!
